found this session harder than the 800m pace, the 600m took alot out of me and could deffently feel an increase in lactic in my legs as they felt tight during the recovery and not perticuly expolisive when starting the following reps.
Monday
6x200m, relaxed and easy ( on grass)
..........3.07....2.48....2.46...3.03...3.21
...........115.....112.....114.....111.....115
.34.......31.......33.......31........31.......30
150.....161.....159.....165.....169.....168
sesson was just to relax and have a bit of fun, did it in trousars and t-shirt so didnt take it seriously at all, tried focusing on technique making sure that my hips felt sterdy and did not twist and i think i generally acheived this.
only swore note is that there is, what feels like internal brusing on the left side of my left leg just above the ankle. it is just tender when i touch it and ached a bit after each rep and took a while to walk it off
Tuesday
3x200m on track
........................17.31....................16.18
.........................132(126Ave)......137(131Ave)

this session gave me a really good buzz, was very surprised by the first rep thought i would have to work alot harder to run 24 and under so came as a suprise as i felt like i was working hard but it wasnt painful or exerting loadsof effort like the last few anerobic sessions, it also didnt feel that quick. the whole session i felt that i would be ale to run faster if i were able to get comftable at this pace as it didnt feel 100% comftable
Wednesday
rest, with the intension to get two good session in on thursday and friday
Thursday
went to the physio for a check up on my hamstring and general strength so was not expecting to be in much pain, however physio put these needles in my hamstring again but this time spread out across the whole of my leg not just in one area, he also left me for alot longer and by the time id finshed my leg was aching quite alot so thought it was best to allow my leg to properly recover and heal.
Friday
glen sorry this is late notice but am actually going away with a few friends tonight for a week, so will still be able to run when im out there but it will be done on how i feel and how much time i have to spere. i also probably wont update the blog why i am away but will when i arrive back
depending on how much time i have today (have alot of letters to fill out to do with uni) will decide what i do in terms of running, it will likly be a fast steady 35min or might just do some strength excerises as ive packed most of my running stuff

This sunday session is a lot better than you probably realise. It shows very clearly that you can run a sub 4 min mile and you just need the confidence to rattle off training at that pace regularly from now on. I am not sure that I ever did much better than this until I was 22/23. keep going.
Of course you will not do it tomorrow. But I promise you that if you keep going it will come sooner than you think.
make sure you ice the ankle. The speed on the 200s shows that your winter and summer have been right. If we can repeat this pattern, with aa few modifications and steady progress, for three to four years then something really special will happen I am sure.
